OneTry is an independent application created by an individual developer. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles (CT DMV) or any other government agency.
The CT DMV name, official materials, and related marks belong to their respective owners. OneTry is a study aid only.

## Age Requirement
OneTry is intended for users who are 15 years of age or older. By creating an account or using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
If you are under 15, please do not use this app. If the developer becomes aware that a user is under 15, that account will be removed.

## Free Access
OneTry is currently provided free of charge. No payment is required to use any feature available at this time.
Future versions of the app may introduce optional paid features or a subscription tier. If and when that happens, the free features available today will remain accessible, and users will be informed before any paid feature is introduced. Any purchase will be governed by the terms of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store at the time of purchase.

## Information We Collect
When you sign in, we collect:
- Your name and email address (provided by Google or Apple at sign-in)
- Optional profile information you choose to enter: phone number and ZIP code
- Your exam date (if you set one)
- Your test scores and practice history within the app
- Your theme preference and notification preference
We do not collect your location, financial information, or any information beyond what is listed above. We use no advertising networks, analytics platforms, or crash-reporting services.

We use the information collected solely to:
- Provide and operate the OneTry app
- Save and sync your progress across devices
- Show you your exam countdown on the Home screen
- Remember your app preferences (theme, notifications)
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes — ever.

## Third-Party Services
OneTry uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- **Supabase** (supabase.com) — database and authentication infrastructure. Your data is stored on Supabase-hosted servers.
- **Google Sign-In** — optional sign-in method. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- **Apple Sign In** — optional sign-in method on iOS. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
The developer does not control these services and is not responsible for their privacy practices. You are encouraged to review their policies independently.

## Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained for as long as you have an active account. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from **Profile → Settings → Delete Account**.
Deletion removes your profile, progress, and test history from our database. Some residual data may remain in Supabase infrastructure logs for a short period in accordance with Supabase's own retention policies.

The practice questions and study content in OneTry are based on the Connecticut Driver's Manual and are provided for educational purposes only. The developer makes no guarantee that this content is complete, current, or free of errors.
Passing practice tests in OneTry does not guarantee passing the official CT DMV knowledge test. Always refer to the official CT Driver's Manual and the CT DMV website for the most current and authoritative information.
